Kelly Watts joins Illinois Crop Improvement Association as Division Manager in Puerto Rico

Kelly W. Watts from Hughson, CA recently joined the Illinois Crop Improvement Association (IL Crop) to assume the newly created position of Division Manager for the company's Winter Farm operation based in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico.

Watts brings tremendous experience to the position in the areas of seed production and farm operations. His 25 plus years of experience parallels IL Crop’s 25 plus years experience of providing third party seed services in Puerto Rico. His prior experience has focused on the coordination and management of production needs in/for Latin America for the vegetable, grass and flower seed industries. In two of his former positions he lived and worked in Chile. He is fluent in Spanish and experienced in conducting business on an international level.

IL Crop created the new position of Division Manager and located the position in Puerto Rico to strengthen operations and to gain efficiencies in an on-going effort to meet current and future industry needs.
