Wyffels Hybrids recently announced the addition of four new district sales managers in Iowa: Ryan Collins of Harpers Ferry, Iowa; Jason Fagan of Earlham, Iowa; Scott Hitzemann of Wellman, Iowa; and Dan Studer of Milford, Iowa. Each will be working closely with growers within their geographic areas, bringing unmatched customer care, as well as an understanding of local field conditions and growing environments.
A recent Wyffels district sales manager trainee, Collins gained the necessary skills and knowledge base to help him build relationships and grow his customer base in northeast Iowa. Before joining Wyffels as a trainee, he served as an intern at Bodensteiner Implement Co., in Waukon, Iowa, instructing implement staff on the use of precision farming equipment. A recent graduate of Iowa State University, Collins received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural systems technology.
Fagan brings solid leadership and a strong understanding of seed, fertilizer, chemicals and precision agriculture to growers in west central Iowa. Prior to joining Wyffels, Fagan served as a field sales agronomist with Farmers Cooperative Company in Earlham, Iowa. He earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural studies and agronomy from Iowa State University.
Hitzemann comes to Wyffels with more than 20 years of experience in the agriculture industry. He most recently served as a district sales manager at another seed company. Previously, he served as an agronomy production specialist for Two Rivers Cooperative, where he provided advanced crop production recommendations. Hitzemann received a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in agriculture studies and agronomy.
Studer joins Wyffels with a strong understanding of what corn growers in northwest Iowa want and expect from a seed corn company. Studer most recently served as a district sales manager at another seed company and was formerly the marketing and sales manager for MyHome Magazine in Spencer, Iowa. Studer received a bachelor’s degree in advertising and business from Dakota State University.
“With the addition of these hardworking men to our team, we can continue to provide the level of commitment and customer care corn growers expect,” said Jeff Hartz, director of marketing at Wyffels Hybrids. “At Wyffels we try harder, work smarter and care more about the success of our customers’ operations. And these men will continue to offer the support and assurance growers have come to expect from Wyffels Hybrids.”
