Advanta US announces new Business Development Manager Bioenergy, Grain and Forage Sorghum, Sunflower

Advanta US is pleased to announce the appointment of John Oppelt as Advanta US Business Development Manager. In this newly created position, Oppelt will focus on sustaining and growing the seed and seed research company’s customer base. Advanta US major product lines include sorghum (grain and forage) and sunflowers. Sorghum is the fifth largest cereal grain in the world and is playing an important role in the expansion of bioenergy globally. Advanta US is launching into the bioenergy marketplace and Oppelt will lead efforts to build new relationships in that arena.
John Oppelt’s strong leadership background includes positions in account and sales management with major crop protection and seed companies including American Cyanamid, UPI and Pioneer. Advanta US offers exemplary research and development programs featuring unique germplasm for high quality forage sorghums, sudangrasses, hybrid grain sorghums and sunflowers.
