Rijk Zwaan will once again be exhibiting at Asia Fruit Logistica from 7 to 9 September 2011.
During this year’s event, Rijk Zwaan will be placing its consumer website Love My Salad in the spotlight.

One of the main aims of this online platform is to stimulate the consumption of vegetables in general, and fresh salads in particular – and this ties in especially well with the current challenge of encouraging Asian consumers to eat more raw vegetables. Another objective of Love My Salad is to bring consumers and growers into contact with one another, which is a new step in terms of services offered by Rijk Zwaan.

Throughout the entire three days of Asia Fruit Logistica, a leading Malaysian chef will be on the Rijk Zwaan stand preparing delicious and inspiring fresh salads for visitors.

To round off the event, the company will host a special ‘Love My Salad’ dinner on the evening of Thursday 9 September, during which three guests will have the unique opportunity to prepare their own salads with help and guidance from the chef.

Innovative chain concepts

In addition to promoting Love My Salad at the show, Rijk Zwaan will also focus on its numerous chain concepts and other innovative projects. Among the highlights will be the ‘Caribbean goes Asia’ and ‘Mellissimo’ melon concepts, and there will of course be plenty of attention devoted to Salanova®. As in previous years, the exhibition is expected to attract many visitors from across Asia with whom Rijk Zwaan is once again looking forward to exchanging thoughts on all aspects of the vegetable business, from growing and processing through to sales and marketing.

Asia Fruit Logistica is the leading trade show for the Asian fruit and vegetable sector and this year marks the fifth anniversary of the event. Rijk Zwaan can be found in hall 5BC, stand number B15.
