Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. and Erwin-Keith, Inc. have signed a long-term distribution agreement granting Erwin-Keith and subsidiary brand Progeny Ag Products exclusive distribution of Golden Acres brand corn and grain sorghum products in the Mid-South and Southeast U.S. The agreement covers the sale of Golden Acres products in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The agreement “means we’ll expand our current product offering of soybeans, rice, and wheat to include corn and sorghum products from Golden Acres as well,” said Jim Calhoon, vice president and general manager of Progeny Ag. “This will allow us to offer a broader line of high performing seed options to growers across our market.”

Erwin-Keith began business in 1984 as a seed cleaning plant in Wynne, AR. Since that time, the company took on an additional location in McCrory and developed it into first class production facilities, launching its own unique brand, Progeny, in 1997. Erwin-Keith established itself with the production and sales of soybeans, rice, and wheat seed. This quality seed is currently being distributed throughout 10 different states served by nine full-time technical sales reps.
