Matt Raymond promoted to Field Services Director at Illinois Crop Improvement Association

Matt Raymond has been promoted to Field Services Director at Illinois Crop.
As Assistant Director Matt has lead the way in IRM surveys since their inception, working with AOSCA, inspectors and the electronic reporting systems.
Matt is a trained lead auditor and has always served as a resource for inspectors, inspection programs and more.
Matt became a Certified Genetic Technologist (CGT) in herbicide bioassay and immunoassay in 2009 and now serves on the Society of Commercial Seed Technologist’s Board of Examiners (BOE).
His role on the BOE is to provide input on written and practical exams in the area of herbicide bioassay.
Matt has also worked with the proficiency testing committee and has led Illinois Crop’s method development efforts for herbicide tolerance traits utilizing greenhouse post-emergence and laboratory substrate-imbibition methods.
Matt is one of the main drivers for Illinois Crop’s wide portfolio of industry validated trait tests.
