AgVenture's summer conference highlights independence, commitment, strength of the nationwide network

More than 150 seed company owners and AgVenture Yield Specialists attended AgVenture, Inc.’s summer conference held in Indianapolis last week. The conference brought together representatives from most of AVI’s nationwide network of 39 independently owned and operated Regional Seed Companies.
AgVenture Inc. General Manager Dave Treinen praised the group for their tenacity in working together and independently. ―This is an exceptional assembly of dedicated seed professionals. They have continued to build momentum, forging new relationships and building ever-stronger teams. These Regional Seed Companies are fully committed to supplying their customers with what they need most.‖ He added, ―Working together, they’re delivering access to the best possible genetic and technology resources on the market, and unwavering support toward customer profitability on every acre and on every phase of growing outstanding crops.
Matt Wehmeyer, of AgVenture Wehmeyer Seed in Mascoutah, IL said, ―We are moving in the right direction. We work in an industry that is always changing – from environmental changes at the grower level, to new traits and genetic offerings, to industry changes. We have great support as a network. What’s in the pipeline is very promising and we look forward to continued growth and improvements.
AgVenture Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Jim Groepper said, ―Our AgVenture Yield Specialists are a fully-focused, energetic and committed group of professionals. They’ve continued to find innovative means to advance their customers’ yields and profitability. Their implementation of efforts including our Maximum Profit System™ have had deliberate and positive impact in fields across the country. The annual summer conference provides an opportunity for RSCs to engage in professional improvement topics, focus on product updates and share strategic insights between and among companies and individuals.
Treinen, who joined AgVenture, Inc. as General Manager in December said, ―I’m proud to serve this elite group of independent seed company owners, offering a symbiotic relationship between AVI and these RSCs. Their success at building and keeping relationships with their customers is testament to values AgVenture brings to the table.‖
