Hugh was selected after a thorough search process from a strong line-up of candidates. He possesses the necessary skills and mindset to safeguard the business, enhance organisational resilience, and ensure continued development throughout the value chain.
Hugh has been with PGG Wrightson Seeds, part of the DLF Group, for 11 years, and currently serving as the General Manager for Supply Chain in the region. He brings over 25 years of experience in the agribusiness sector in Oceania and currently holds a board position with the New Zealand Grain and Seed Trade Association.
DLF Group CEO Søren Halbye stated, “Hugh is an excellent match for this position. He has demonstrated his vision, commitment, and capability to contribute to the advancement of the business and organisation both regionally and globally. It is encouraging to have such a strong internal candidate as successor for this critical role.”
Hugh will also join the Executive Management Board of the DLF Group, where he will play a key role in driving the continued development of DLF as a global organisation, seeking synergies across the value chain while maintaining strong local roots in our diverse geographies.
