Paul Sawyer has been promoted to this newly created position. Paul, a well-known icon in the vegetable seed business, has an extensive career in the agricultural arena. His 25 years of experience give him vast experience to benefit the growers of the Southeastern USA. Along with his 16 years as a seed consultant with Siegers Seed Company, his experience includes being a crop consultant, writing pest management programs for commercial farmers, and as a plant raiser, experienced in both the field and the greenhouse. Paul was also the president of the Florida Seed Association, and he is Chairman of the Board of the Florida Watermelon Association, as well as serving on committees for the National Watermelon Association.

Paul’s new role will be to manage the sales of seed and introductions of new genetics in a coordinated effort between Siegers product development and sales teams. This will benefit the commercial growers in the Southeast USA by getting superior genetics into rapidly developing markets.
