A Historic Moment for the ISTA eCertificates!

On August 14, 2024, Klein Karoo Seed Production from South Africa, ZA06, became the first laboratory to issue an ISTA eCertificate order. This achievement represents a major advancement in the field of seed certification, showcasing innovation and leadership in the industry. We extend our congratulations to Klein Karoo for setting a new standard and paving the way for the future of seed testing and certification. The ISTA Electronic Certificates (eCertificates) represent a modern alternative to traditional paper-based ISTA Certificates, providing added efficiency and convenience. The eCertificates do not replace the ISTA Paper certificates, but are offered in addition. In addition means that either the eCertificates or the Paper certificates can be issued. The advantage of the eCertificates is that everyone, who has the access information (certificate number and access code), may check the data on-line via the ISTA website. How to access them is explained in a tutorial video here. 

ISTA eCertificates are only available to laboratories, that have successfully tested the system and have their login details.
