Final decision by the Ordinary General Meeting of ISTA was made in Cambridge, England, on 04 July 2024 to go live with the ISTA eCertificate system from today, Monday 15 July
2024.
Participation for ISTA Accredited Laboratories is free of charge, only the supply of the blank eCertificates are charged.
The current system will not replace the paper system, but is offered in addition. In addition means that either the eCertificates or the paper Certificates can be issued.
The advantage of the eCertificates is that everyone, who has the access information (Certificate number and access code), may check the data on-line via the ISTA website.
Printouts can be made directly from the system either to file them electronically or as paper print-out.
