Agri-Pulse: Once a world leader in innovation, the US is now falling behind

On July 11, Agri-Pulse featured an Op-ed from Cathy Burns, CEO of the International Fresh Produce Association and Andy LaVigne, President & CEO of ASTA.

The piece, titled “Once a World-leader in Innovation, the U.S. is Now Falling Behind” discusses the impacts of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) final rule on Plant Incorporated Protectants (PIPs), especially to small companies and public sector plant breeding programs.
