Corn growers in Illinois, Iowa and surrounding areas can take advantage of the latest advancements in corn genetics and technology with Wyffels Hybrids. The company recently rolled out nine new hybrid families for 2012.
The new products include conventional hybrids, as well as hybrids featuring Genuity® VT Double PRO™, Genuity® VT Triple PRO™, Agrisure® GT/CB/LL, Herculex® 1 and Roundup Ready® Corn 2 trait packages. Together with the existing Wyffels Hybrids product lineup, these new products represent one of the most comprehensive trait and technology offerings in the seed corn market. Customers will find all of these technology options in new, advanced genetics.
“We continually focus on improving our genetics in each new class of elite hybrids we develop,” said Fritz Behr, vice president of research at Wyffels Hybrids. “In multiple years of testing, these new hybrids have proven they perform with improved yield potential, excellent standability, stalk and root strength and consistency in diverse conditions and environments. We are committed to bringing our customers seed solutions that can help their operations be more profitable, and that are among the most advanced on the market today.”
