Barenbrug USA is excited to announce the recent hire of Josh Dejong as Western US Professional Turf and Forage Territory Sales Manager.
With his extensive background in the agricultural and turf management fields, Mr. Dejong brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role.
A resident of Eaton, Colorado, Mr. Dejong resides with his wife Mekiah and their three children Owen, Bensyn, and Quinn. Growing up on a Dairy Farm in Northeast Colorado, Mr. Dejong developed a strong foundation in agricultural practices. He continued farming until 2007, subsequently transitioning his career into the construction and demolition industry as an equipment operator, foreman, and diesel mechanic. In 2009, Mr. Dejong redirected his professional path towards sports turf management, starting as a Sports Turf Manager within the K12 sector. Later, he transitioned to the Parks and Recreation field, further expanding his expertise. Mr. Dejong pursued higher education at the University of Georgia and Aims Community College, where he honed his skills and received his certification as a Sports Turf Manager in 2019.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Dejong dedicates his free time to supporting his children's activities and actively participating in volunteer initiatives within the turf industry. His commitment to fostering healthy communities through the enhancement of outdoor spaces aligns perfectly with his new role as the Professional Turf and Forage Sales Manager for the Western US. As the Professional Turf and Forage Sales Manager, Mr. Dejong will be responsible for overseeing sales operations and developing strategic initiatives to promote and distribute turf products throughout the West region. With his in-depth understanding of the turf and forage industries and dedication to customer satisfaction, Mr. Dejong is poised to make significant contributions to the growth and success of our organization.
