Mark Seed Company announces Dr. Ron Secrist as Director of Cyst Tech Development

Mark Seed Company is proud to announce that Dr. Ron Secrist has accepted the position of Director of Cyst Tech Development. Dr. Secrist has been a soybean breeder for 32 years. For the past 14 years he has been Lead Soybean Breeder and Station Manager at Dairyland Seed's Iowa Research Station.

Every year, farmers have planted over a million acres with soybean varieties that Dr. Secrist has developed. He has bred six varieties that been awarded patents.

Ron is currently Vice president of the Iowa Crop Improvement Association and is serving a second term on the Association's Board of Directors. He has also served as President, Vice-President, and Board Member of the Commercial Soybean Breeders group.

He is very excited to bring the Cyst Tech technology to the farmer. According to Dr. Secrist, “Cyst Tech will revolutionize the way soybeans are grown. With the right genetics and
management, I think that 100 bu/A soybeans are possible today!”
