Team Lawes members curling

Syngenta Canada is excited to cheer on curler Kaitlyn Lawes as she skips her newly formed elite women’s curling team this season.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist has teamed up to form Team Lawes with Jocelyn Peterman, Selena Njegovan and Kristin MacCuish. They will be based in Manitoba.

“As a leading agriculture technology company dedicated to helping growers produce their best crop each year, Syngenta knows what it takes to perform at a highest level. This is why we’re thrilled to sponsor Team Lawes, who have some big goals and all the talent to get them there,” says Danielle Miller, Syngenta Customer Marketing Lead, out of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba.

In their sights for the 2022-2023 season are the Scotties Tournament of Hearts and the Women’s World Curling Championships. The team also has eyes towards bringing home another gold medal for Canada at the 2025 Olympics.

“We are privileged to be partnering with Syngenta Canada. We can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together,” says Lawes. “Support from our partners plays a key role in our success, helping the team train and compete at an elite level.”
