Maribo Seed has decided that the time is right to trial some of our varieties in Turkey, a market with approximately 150,000 hectares of beet sown annually.
We have therefore sent six new varieties in 2010 for official trials in Turkey, and these (all rhizomania and cercospora tolerant) varieites we believe are well suited to the climatic conditions within the country.

Depending upon the official trial results which are expected in December 2010, Maribo Seed is hopeful to begin commercial activities in Turkey in 2011.
