USDA/NIFA invests over $7M in soil hHealth

The goal of the Soil Health program area priority is to support research projects that will contribute to advancements in the scientific understanding of soil physical and biogeochemical processes; the assessment, development and adoption of models, decision support tools and new management/conservation practices and/or processes that will lead to improvements in soil health and productivity while improving environmental health and sustainability of our natural resource base; and the interactions between social, environmental, and economic dimensions.
