ASTA’s CSS & Seed Expo 2021 is less than two weeks away! There’s still time register to attend (in-person or virtually) the nation’s largest seed industry conference, Dec. 6-9 in Chicago. Recent additions to the program include a panel discussion on Monday, Dec. 6 exploring the rapidly growing topic of plant-based proteins. Expert speakers include: Nicole Sopko, VP, Upton’s Naturals and President, Plant Based Foods Association; Tyler Jameson, VP, Government Affairs, Impossible Foods; and Mark Macrander, Director, Specialty Grain Contracting & Plant Science, Ingredion Corporation.
In Tuesday’s General Session, Dan Basse of AgResource will bring his annual predictions for what lies ahead in global agricultural markets. Wednesday’s General Session will offer a glimpse into the future of carbon markets and sustainability, with speakers representing Purdue University, Amazon, Land O’Lakes, Boeing, top global seed companies, and many more. Other key sessions and Expo tours will feature timely industry topics including: gene editing, managing employee turnover, treated seeds, digital imaging, and seed labs.
