ASTA is pleased to present its recently updated Strategic Plan. The Plan was updated through a formal process over the past several months, including feedback from ASTA membership, and was officially approved by ASTA’s Board of Directors in June.

The 2021 Plan includes a new pillar of Sustainability, in addition to the existing core pillars of Intellectual Property Rights, Domestic Policy, International Activities, Communications, and Membership & Internal Matters. While sustainability is a new addition as a stand-along pillar, it is a driving principle across many of our activities. Pursuant to the Strategic Plan, ASTA will be working toward the objective of ensuring the role of seed is fully recognized in sustainable agriculture as policies are developed in the public and private sectors at the local, national, and international levels.
