We were honored to host a visit by the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Alon Schuster to our Berurim Headquarters. This was an excellent opportunity to acquaint him with the work conducted by Hazera and the company’s capabilities and accomplishments. We thank him for his support and trust, and hope that we will collaborate in leading and continuing to drive the success of Israel’s seed industry and the entire agricultural sector.

“Keeping Israel at the forefront of innovation
Today I visited the Hazera Seeds company and was introduced to the innovative activities of this groundbreaking Israeli company.
Hazera, for anyone unfamiliar with it, is a global pioneer in the seed industry for agricultural cultivation, a company that combines decades of experience with advanced technology. The company breeds, cultivates, develops, manufactures and markets a diverse range of hybrid vegetable seed varieties for agriculture that are used throughout the world.
During the visit, I met with the heads of Hazera, as well as with representatives of other companies in the field of seed development belonging to the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce.
For me, this is, first and foremost, a source of Israeli pride, as it pushes the capabilities of agricultural research and development in Israel to its very limits. Hazera, as well as the other companies with which I met, are an excellent example of groundbreaking and innovative Israeli agriculture. I consider it to be of the greatest importance that we make significant budgetary investments in the areas of agricultural research and development, and together with the Director General of the Ministry I will continue to work to harness the officials at the Ministry of Finance to the mission of reinforcing our agricultural innovation.
