On behalf of All-America Selections, Home Garden Seed Association and the National Garden Bureau, we hope this message finds you, your trial and display gardens, your businesses as well as your friends and families safe and well.

After much deliberation, the 2020 Summer Summit planning team has decided to postpone the Summer Summit in Vancouver, B.C. to 2021.

As you can imagine, this was not a decision taken lightly but due to all the unknowns, the travel restrictions, the health concerns, etc. we felt it was the safe and prudent decision to make.

But, please note we say we are postponing the event. This means we have worked with a very agreeable hotel to move our meeting from September 9-12, 2020 to September 8-11, 2021. Same hotel, the Westin Wall Centre in Richmond, B.C. and very similar dates, just one year later.

Details:

• If you are currently registered for the 2020 Summer Summit, we will issue refunds via PayPal.
• If you have already made a hotel room reservation, the hotel will cancel those room reservations and will send you an email with the cancellation information.
• If you have already made flight reservations, please contact your airline ASAP. Many air carriers are very understanding in these challenging times and have favorable refund/re-booking/cancellation policies.

We will miss seeing everyone this year, not only at our event but at all of the other industry events that have been canceled or postponed. But your health and safety is of utmost importance.

It is our hope that by making some sacrifices, we will emerge from this even stronger than before. We know that the interest in gardening is at a very high level and just as your organizations are, we are doing everything we can to support and encourage that interest.
