Hazera was pleased to host, on the 18-19 of December, the annual Limagrain Group Safety Directors Seminar. This is the first time such a seminar was held outside the Limagrain’s home country – France.
The safety directors from all Limagrain sites around the world arrived in Israel to attend the annual seminar, and took the opportunity to take a closer look at Hazera’s advanced safety practices.
The seminar included professional lectures and presentations in the field of safety, including safety management, risk management, reporting procedures, regulations, safety reviews and audits, and more.
On the first day of the seminar, guests visited Hazera’s plant in Sderot and were impressed by the rigorous work processes implemented at the plant. During the day, guided tours of the various departments were held for the directors, enabling them to observe the company’s safety activities and developments.
The second day of the seminar was held at the HQ in Berurim, where the directors visited the R&D operations department and were impressed by the management of hazardous material warehouses, visited the various quality control laboratories – health laboratory and germination laboratory, and also saw the high-altitude greenhouse work method.
We were delighted, excited and honored by the visit of the safety directors, and wish to thank everyone who took part and contributed to its success.
