The Yield Lab announces two new partners

St. Louis, Missouri, USA
April 5, 2019

The Yield Lab is pleased to welcome Allan Harari and Juan Ferreira to the team. Allan is joining the team as a Managing Director and Juan as a Venture Partner.

“Agriculture has played a seminal role throughout my professional career,” says Harari, “I’m looking forward to moving the Yield Lab global mission forward and working with technologies that make an important impact on the economy and planet.”

Allan, founder and Chairman of The ATSGlobal Group, brings over 40 years of entrepreneurial, private sector experience to The Yield Lab Group, primarily in the agribusiness sector. His global perspective will provide an invaluable perspective to the selection and nurturing of our portfolio companies. Allan has also served as Chairman of the American Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of The Interflour Group.

“Agriculture is my passion,” says Ferreira, “Joining the Yield Lab team is a perfect opportunity to work with a global portfolio and apply my global agribusiness background to help companies develop.”

Juan recently departed the Monsanto Company as the Global VP for the Crop Protection business, the Vegetable Seeds business and the Seed Applied Solutions business. Juan previous posts at Monsanto Company included the Eastern Hemisphere Commercial lead, Global Marketing Lead and overseeing the company’s technology development organization, as well as leading Monsanto’s businesses in Latin America South and Europe and Africa.
