Class VI of the UC Davis European Plant Breeding Academy SM (EPBA) will start in October 2019 and is now open for registration - A tuition discount is available for registration before March 31, 2019

The UC Davis Plant Breeding Academy (PBA) is a professional certificate program offered since 2006 with classes in USA, Europe, Africa and Asia. To date, the program has trained more than 330 breeders, 80% of which are from the private seed industry.
The 2019 class core curriculum will maintain upgrades from the previous classes and add modules to address the most recent developments in plant breeding theory and practice.

The UC Davis PBA has established a list of core instructors that includes internationally recognized experts in plant breeding and seed technology. The instructor list will change for specific sessions in accordance with the participants’ needs. The core instructors are supported by a number of guest lecturers from both private industry and academia.
Employers appreciate the opportunity to provide their valued employees advanced training without disrupting their full-time employment. Participants attend six 6-day sessions over approximately two years.
