Don’t miss the American Seed Trade Association’s (ASTA) 2019 Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference, February 1-5 in Orlando! This global conference is ASTA’s fastest-growing event, bringing together approximately 1,000 seed industry leaders from over 35 countries.
Taking place at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, the 2019 conference will once again feature a dynamic line-up of educational sessions—covering topics from trade and phytosanitary issues, to industry trends and innovation—along with a more spacious Trading Room than ever before -- with more than 150 participating companies.
Brand-new this year, on February 3, ASTA is partnering with the USDA Office of the Chief Scientist on a session titled, “Global Perspectives on Indoor Farming & Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA): Producers to End-Users." The session will feature expert speakers covering topics including crop selection, seed availability, consumer-driven traits, and global outlooks and scalability. The session wraps up with a 30-minute “lightning talk” round, in which participants will rotate to a variety of companies working in this space to each provide their unique perspectives on CEA.
The latest schedule of events is available on the conference webpage.
