AgriThority adds research associate in North America with crop and technology expertise

AgriThority®, an agricultural science consultancy specializing in accelerating new technologies to commercialization in markets around the world, welcomes Al Green as Research Associate for North America.

Green has more than two decades of experience developing cutting-edge technologies, including agrichemical pesticides, traits (GMO and non-GMO), seeds, plant growth regulators, stimulants and even food ingredients. Throughout his career, Green has organized field and greenhouse trials to fully understand product performance and generate data required for product launch in markets around the world.

As Research Associate for North America, Green will design, manage and analyze research objectives, protocols and trials for AgriThority clients. He will apply his global experience with a broad range of vegetable and agronomic crops to efficiently develop, register and commercialize novel technologies. He will work with clients to introduce new products to the markets where they are needed. Green is recognized for consistently delivering projects within budget and with a high degree of organization and communications.

"Al has traveled to and led agricultural projects in 47 different countries. With this experience, he has the ability to observe agricultural production needs and help bring innovative new products to farmers for higher production and performance," says Dr. Marco Toapanta, AgriThority Global Director - Science & Technology. "AgriThority clients will rely on his proven management of internal and external research resources and data analysis to identify valuable opportunities for new technologies around the world."

Prior to joining AgriThority, Green was the Global Research & Development Manager for AgroFresh, where he oversaw and implemented basic and applied research for the development of a novel plant growth regulator.

Green earned a Bachelor of Science in agronomy from Iowa State University and a Master of Science in plant breeding and genetics from the University of Minnesota.
