Germinal is set to introduce G–Source, an exciting online forage management resource to farmers at this year’s Royal Ulster Winter Fair

United Kingdom
December 1, 2017

G–Source is available at www.g-source.org and offers extensive yet easy to follow information covering 11 core topics including reseeding grassland, improving soil fertility and growing forage brassicas.

The G–Source website is responsive across all handheld and desktop devices for use in–field, from the farm office or at home. Information is presented as video animations, printable infographics or extended information text guides.

G–Source also has a library of expert advice videos called G–Talks from leading spokespeople in the industry, including Germinal NI’s David Little. G–Talks will be updated regularly and built into a comprehensive resource that a farmer, student or farm worker can tap into when seeking advice to help maximise returns from forage.

“From wider industry insight, we know that there are lost opportunities to make better use of homegrown feed resources,” says David Little, General Manager for Germinal NI. “The key to making better use of homegrown forage is having the right knowledge to make the most of resources, so we have created G–Source to help bridge the gap. G–Source is designed to help livestock farmers increase their use of homegrown forage, and ultimately drive down their costs of production.”

Visit the Germinal team at the Winter Fair on 14 December at stand EX93 for more information and to enter G–Source’s competition to win £500 worth of Germinal grass seed.
