Since its foundation in 1852 PETKUS looks back on an eventful and very successful history. For it was the world's first company, which specialized in the construction and production of seed sorting and cleaning machines. 20 years ago, when Mark Scholze together with Luca Celeghini took over the helm, they decided to carry on the tradition of the international company's prosperous formative decades. With creativity, technical know- how of its employees, its innovative products, and under the motto "Strong Seed. Healthy Grain. PETKUS.” the company supports a strong and healthy agriculture.

Among others, this interview is about these very innovative products, such as PETKUS’ "green dryer" or the new Gravity Table G40. Correspondingly, the research at the ROEBER Institute, the development of employees at the PETKUS Academy, the new PETKUS Centers of Competence, and the role of women in the company as well as in the seed industry are highlighted.
