USA - Pioneer brand corn achieves strong 2024 yields, Pioneer brand Z-Series soybeans outpace competitors

USA
November 25,2 024

In 2024, Pioneer® brand corn hybrids delivered outstanding performance, with the top 40 products outperforming competitors by 10.4 bu/A and achieving a 73% win rate, showcasing their strength and consistency across U.S. fields.(1)

Meanwhile, Pioneer® brand Z-Series soybeans thrived in their debut despite heavy Midwest rains, demonstrating strong resistance to common diseases such as sudden death syndrome, brown stem rot, white mold, iron deficiency chlorosis and more.

More yield potential, protection and flexibility for corn products in 2025

Pioneer® brand Vorceed® Enlist® corn products outperformed competing triple-stack hybrids, averaging 7.8 bu/A higher yields in over 16,000 comparisons, achieving a 65% win rate.(2) This latest technology will help farmers protect corn yields for greater profit potential – an important consideration for those with above- and below-ground pests.

PowerCore® Enlist® products showed a 7.7 bu/A advantage over competitive hybrids, with a 65% win rate against 18,176 comparisons, while PowerCore® Ultra Enlist® products showcased a 70% win rate and an 11.3 bu/A advantage in more than 8,000 comparisons.(3)

Pioneer brand Optimum® AQUAmax® products delivered this year, averaging a 5.3 bu/A yield advantage over competitors in all growing environments, totaling more than 13,000 comparisons.(4)

Soybean successes

Farmers experiencing common soybean diseases can look to Z-Series varieties as they’re making seed decisions for 2025. This level of resistance is a testament to Pioneer’s investment in R&D at the local level.

Pioneer® brand Z-Series soybeans offered a 2.7 bu/A yield advantage over the industry-renowned Pioneer® brand A-Series soybeans, setting a new benchmark in soybean yield potential. As the largest advancement class in Pioneer history, more than 50 Z-Series varieties launched earlier this year, with more to come in 2025. With Z-Series soybeans, farmers have more options than ever to meet their needs.
