PBS International is delighted to announce that we will be official sponsors of the forthcoming Plant Breeding Fit for the Future conference, hosted by CHAP and the Soil Association. The event will take place on Wednesday 12th of October at Aston University in Birmingham, England, and we would like to extend an invitation to all our colleagues and customers to attend this insightful event.
 

Throughout the event, we will explore the crucial role of plant varieties in creating resilient and sustainable agricultural systems. At present, the agriculture sector is faced with a series of complex challenges, sky-rocketing energy costs, devastating climate change effects and consumer dietary shifts to name a few. We aim to include a wide range of agricultural philosophies and provide opportunity for discussion and debate on future needs, mutual interests and ways to improve the impact of the plant breeding community to tackle UK’s challenges within the sector.

Join us and the invited panel of experts for a day of insightful knowledge exchange and creativity. The programme includes talks and debate sessions to help us explore priorities, collaboration opportunities and shared resources as well as technology and policy enablers.
