PhytoGen has launched a new and improved PhytoGenYields.com, redesigned to provide cotton producers with the latest variety information based on geographic location. The new resource is one of many steps PhytoGen has taken to help cotton growers make the right choice for their farms.
“The all-new, user-friendly PhytoGenYields.com was built with the needs of cotton growers in mind,” says Duane Canfield, general manager and portfolio marketing leader for PhytoGen. “The site helps growers make seed purchase decisions by providing quick access to local variety and performance data. It also provides the contact information for sales representatives, cotton agronomists and cotton development specialists.”
The site features new tools and functionality that allow growers to find relevant PhytoGen® cottonseed variety information based on their location. Visitors to the site locate their home state and are quickly provided with the PhytoGen cotton varieties appropriate to their geography. Research data and other information will be added to the website as it becomes available so growers are encouraged to visit regularly.
“The biggest benefit this new website offers is customization for the producer,” Canfield says. “We know a grower’s time is valuable. The enhanced site allows visitors to quickly and easily find the information that is pertinent to them.”
The website also provides a resource center that hosts press releases, newsletters, variety guides and articles of interest from throughout the Cotton Belt. Additional content includes information about the cotton protection portfolio from Dow AgroSciences and upcoming events and field days.
