GreenLeaf Genetics LLC is a joint venture between Syngenta and Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., a subsidiary of DuPont. GreenLeaf is a leading licensor of corn and soybean genetics to foundation seed houses and private seed companies. GreenLeaf offers elite inbreds from its parent companies and other industry genetics providers and also facilitates the licensing of innovative biotech traits from the parent companies.
We are searching for a Product Development and Data Operations Manager with experimental design and data analysis expertise. The ideal person for this role will have strong background in product development, data analysis, experimental design, and yield trial and nursery management.
The key responsibilities of the position include:
- Design and analyze yield and research trials, develop additional formats to analyze and present data, investigate methods to improve the data quality and analyses.
- Coordinate version testing and breeder seed increases of traited inbreds and manage summer and winter nurseries in the US and Latin America.
- Assist the Product Development Head with the trait conversion program.
The selected candidate will be an active member of the Product Development Team and support all team activities. S/he will report directly to the Product Development Head and will work closely with counterparts in both parent organizations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Ph.D. degree in agriculture with 2-5 years experience or MS degree with 5+ years of experience. Seed industry experience is a plus.
- Field experience managing research trials, data collection, analysis and interpretation.
