Top Seeds International, recently acquired by Mitsui & Co., is searching for candidate to take the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The position is located at headquarter of Top Seeds International in the city of Sharona, Israel.

The ideal candidate is a leader that will bring evolution on Top Seeds International’s current organization, structure, methodologies and processes by:

• Mobilizing people potentials: exploit and combine the knowledge and experience of the different teams and people in the organization, to lead the organization in a cross-functional approach to make the most optimal decision for the best interest of the company.
• Internationalizing: the goal is to make Top Seeds International a true “international company” in the next 5 years. Therefore, the CEO should be able to build a strong bridge between the innovative R&D knowledge and breeding technology available in Israel and an international organization in Product Development and Marketing & Sales in all key major markets outside Israel.
• Connections and good knowledge of the global seed vegetables industry: after the operation of TSI stabilize, we are looking for a leader that can connect Top Seeds International to partners around the world to explore and realize partnerships (in and out licensing, M&A).

We are looking for candidate that could match the following profile:

• At least 15 years of International working experience within the seeds vegetables sector. • Familiarity with the diverse business function such as Marketing & Sales, Research & Development, Supply chain, General Management.
• The candidate bring strong records of success as change agent, with superior ability in mobilizing cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management.
• Proven record in developing company strategy from vision.
• Analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and public speaking.

The primary responsibilities of this CEO position include the following tasks:

• The candidate will build from what is already good in TSI, and handle the challenges to bring gradual and well-coordinated improvements.
• Lead, manage and develop the TSI leadership management team.
• In working together with TSI leadership management team and board of shareholders making major company decisions as far regard the overall company strategy.
• Securing and directing the execution of the company strategy.
• Achieve the yearly top and bottom line targets.
• Executing the company's annual budget process.
• Monitoring month by month the annual budget achievements to secure company its overall growth and profitability.
• Be the major point of communication between the board of directors and TSI leadership management team.
