(NSPL) is a breeder, producer and distributor of vegetable seeds based near Bangalore with a commitment to developing high quality varieties with better yield, disease resistance and adaptability to various agro climatic conditions. Position Purpose

As a supply chain manager / planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of seeds between various processes from production, processing until dispatch. Focused on being able to plan with the various internal stakeholders and then implement effective controls and processes between them. You may also be assisting to help with international procurement of seeds.

Experience: Minimum 5 years, experience in seed industry supply chain highly desirable

Desired Candidate Profile

• In depth knowledge of Indian seed production business
• Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and general computer skills)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Interpersonal skills, team player and ability to manage expectations of both junior and senior management teams
• Self-driven with strong organizational skills
• Should be available for travelling

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead coordinator between production, QC, processing and dispatch teams
• Establishing best practice work systems to enable to organisation to plan and execute inventory and production plans.
• Propose and suggest supply chain budgets
• Organizing and leading planning meetings including delivery of monthly reports
• Ability to lead teams to achieve targets and objectives and suggest corrective actions as necessary
• Identifying and highlighting upcoming shortages
• Adequate response to changing market demands
• Regional planning functionalities
• Developing and managing resources
• Implementing measures to improve quality and productivity
• Optimize efficiency of processing plant and QC labs
• Compliance with laws and regulations
