In order to support our continuous growth, we are currently recruiting a:
Product Development Specialist, South East USA (M/F)
Based in South East USA
Your challenge is to further strengthen our position on the South East USA market, by making optimal use of the available resources in the company. Your personal input will make the difference. You will be focused on Product Development for the South Eastern region.
You will be located in the South East USA and report to the East Coast Sales Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing and conducting field trials of development varieties in the assigned territory, independently as well as in conjunction with our distributers in this region.
- Works with the dealer network to trial, promote Hazera varieties.
- Develops a Hazera network of key growers/shippers in the territory.
Keeps overview of events in the territory, i.e. tradeshows, open days
- Assist and coordinate with breeder trials and visits of Product Managers and Breeders.
Preferred Profile:
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Agriculture and 3 years’ experience in a PD position, preferably vegetable seed industry.
- Focus crops are watermelon, tomato, radish and brassica.
- Open communicator with good interpersonal skills, able to interact between different disciplines in Hazera USA team, customers and dealer network;
- Professional reporting and computer skills;
- You have a strong action-driven personality, and you are able to motivate yourself
- Drivers License;
- Willing to travel frequently.
