Help Grow a better tomorrow Nuseed is looking for a Supply Manager to join our team in Woodland, California.

About the role:

The purpose of this role is to provide high quality seed through cost effective methods for Nuseed. This position will be responsible for all supply chain activities for North America. This would include seed production, processing, packaging, quality analysis, logistics including domestic, importing and exporting. This role will be responsible for all inventories of all crops and is responsible for the day to day activities at the site.

Be part of building a better Nufarm:

• Manage third party seed production and internal hybrid seed production.
• Oversee Nuseed processing plant and third party seed processors
• Manage, in conjunction with Global Quality Manager , the Quality Assurance Control Program from field to final customer.
• Develop strategies to reduce cost of goods while maintain product quality
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate inventory reports including quality information
• Hire, develop and coach employees to success and building a high performing team.
• Implement and continually refine the safety culture of the operation.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture with experience in logistics. Experience working in a manufacturing, ideally seed processing environment at a management level would be beneficial. This role requires an action oriented, results driven person with excellent decision making capabilities and strong business acumen. The ability to plan and problem solve is also vital to the success of this role.
