Primary functions and responsibilities:
Category Analytics
The internist would lead all efforts to gather, organize, analyze and report vegetable seed market data.
- Our core crops are: Tomato, Pepper, Eggplant, Cucumber, Melon, Watermelon, Squash and Sweet Corn.
- Measures will focus on $ sales, pricing and market share by major competitor
- General product profile segmentation will be required
- Major market regions will be separated, VoloAgri currently sells seed in 70 countries
- Segregation between Open Field and Protected environments will need to be made
Product Management
Initial efforts will focus on capturing product profile specifications and recording them for the first time on a centralized system.
- All current and prioritized future sales regions globally
- Includes all of our core crops with detail on a sub-segment basis
- For a large number of our new VoloAgri varieties
- For a best in class competitive product within each regional sub-segment
Qualifications/Skills:
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial minded, able to find solutions without being provided exact instructions. They will have well developed communication and interpersonal skills. A background in agricultural and a strong analytical background are required.
