Position: Plant Geneticist and Project Manager

Job Description:
Position available for oversight and integration of major agricultural genome projects and its interface with existing breeding operations in North America and Europe. Responsibilities will involve implementing project design, operational protocols, including responsibilities for sample collection, genetic crosses, phenotyping, database entry and pedigree records.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have B.Sc or M.Sc. degree and 1-3 years of experience in areas such as plant molecular biology, population and quantitative genetics, QTL trait mapping, genomics-assisted breeding strategies, and database management skills including pedigree records and sample tracking. Both national and international travel is required.
