Manager

Location: Indonesia

Namdhari Seeds Pvt. Ltd., is  looking for candidates with management experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to lead our business in South East Asian Market.

Extensive travels are required, in the area assigned and Internationally.

Job Profile:

  • To develop Sales in the area, particularly ensuring the follow-up and the direct relationship with existing customers and if it is necessary, by looking for new ones,
  • To directly follow the major accounts of customers in the assigned territory with the help of experienced team.
  • To provide Sales plan based on forecasts for the area, from which area manager undertakes, proposes and follows commercial and operating budgets,
  • To manage the team and develop the technical and sales skills,
  • To implement an adapted pricing policy,
  • To report quantitative and qualitative information,
  •  To interact with Customer Service, Marketing Supplies, Communication, Finances & Human Resources departments for business and management purposes.

Education / knowledge

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of relevant work experience in sales and marketing within the vegetable Seed industry preferred.

Skills:

  • A proven customer relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, assertive and clear communicative skills (verbal and written), including active listening skills.
  • Has excellent sales skills (gains trust, establishes a business objective, identifies customer needs, explores solutions, develops action plans, and overcomes objections through negotiation).
  • In depth knowledge of vegetable seeds marketing and close affinity with the growing, packing and processing industry of the respective crop will be a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Shows personal initiative, is flexible and pragmatic, and able to portray and promote a positive image of the company’s vision, mission and values.
  • Must maintain high confidentiality. Independence
  • Performs the position / tasks independently under the responsibility of the respective Area Sales Manager.

Contacts

  • Maintains intensive internal and external contacts.
  • Participates in relevant Product Meetings and crop excursions.

Qualifications : Master Degree / B Sc degree in Agriculture or Agronomy.
