Requirements

• M.Sc / Ph.D in Genetics & Plant Breeding
• Experience of at least 5 to 6 years in relevant crop. Experience in a commercial organization will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, innovative ideas and analytical abilities required
• Should be able to perform independently and integrate as a team player
• Knowledge of breeding software, marker assisted selection
• Ability to relate market requirement with relevant genetics of the crop

Responsibilities

• Overall, the candidate will be responsible for development of commercially successful varieties of crops assigned and as per the directions provided.
