Nuseed Americas is seeking a motivated person to join our team as the Sorghum Development Agronomist/Trial Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking and coordinating third party contracted R&D sorghum trials in the USA ensuring the generation of quality data supporting the sorghum research goals and commercial ambition of Nuseed.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Set up contracts and maintain good relationships with third party trial service providers and Universities for the locations sown on behalf of Nuseed including clear direction on agronomy packages and seeding rates for all trial locations.
• Oversee the placement of trialling locations in North America and data collection.
• Organise and Assist in the production of seed for advanced and pre-commercial level testing. This may involve working at a contra nursery location for 2 weeks per year
• Gain an understanding of pedigrees and hybrid backgrounds that effect plant characteristics and adaptation.
• Summarise data and proactively participate in the advancement of superior Sorghum Genotypes

Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree in Agronomy
• Current drivers License
• Experience with field experimentation and trial Design.
• Experience with Experimental planting and harvest equipment
