The Corn Inventory Analyst works closely with the Corn Inventory Manager and Logistics Manager to build and maintain the Master Schedule, manage inventory integrity, and analyze supply chain inefficiencies.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for maintaining a high level of confidentiality, customer service, and professionalism; responsible for promotion a positive image of the company.
2. Analyze corn supply chain operations and suggest recommendations for improvements to leadership team
3. Compile supply information for leadership team
4. Track on-time completion of bag and rebag activities
5. Track seed set percentages and harvest percentage until goal
6. Identify and solve inefficiencies within the scheduling, bagging, shipping processes
7. Analyze financial impact of product placement at different geographical locations
8. Create crop production plan and suggest hybrid placement by geography to ensure maximum yield
9. Manage conversion data to ensure work orders represent a close estimate of the sample taken
10. Work with IT department to determine programming needs to enhance usability in the ERP system and reporting
11. Insure data integrity for all bagging activities
12. Other duties as needed.

Duties and responsibilities may be revised, as needed, by the Logistics Manager either verbally and/or in writing.

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in related field preferred; demonstrated experience in supply chain management, logistics, inventory management, and/or analytics and/or computers desired;
• Excellent communication skills, team player, detail oriented;
• Proficient computer skills-Excel, Access, and Word;
• Knowledge of seed industry preferred.
• Ability to make informed decisions utilizing data as support is an essential function of this position.
