Location: France, / business trips (France and abroad) : 30% of working time

Role purpose :

As a member of the Marketing Strategy team and in relation with our branches (our biotechnology research center and business units) you will be responsible for our GMO traits portfolio for field seeds at a worldwide scale.

Accountabilities :

• You will carry out a detailed analysis of the trait market in order to identify, segment and define the existing and potential markets (targets, portfolios, competitors) by geographical area, by kind of crop and by kind of needs. You will use the feedback of our business units and all the sources you might consider usefull.
• You will determine the best strategy and submit it to your manager while taking into account the issues (competition, development period, costs).
• You will guide the work of the research team and/or choose to buy patents to a third party.
• You will assist the business units for setting up and promoting our portfolio on their area, you will collaborate with the local Directors and/or Marketing Managers (process, tools…). You will be a driving force in your scope and beyond.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• You are a gratuated Agricultural Engineer.
• You have had a successful professional experience in a position focused on Marketing Strategy in the agro-business.
• You have a deep knowledge of biotechnologies market.
• Your social skills and motivation will help you to integrate the team.
• Your are a team leader and your analytical abilities will be a real advantage. A fluent English is required.
