We are looking to appoint an Innovative and experienced Biotechnology Regulatory Science Lab Manager based In ResearchTriangle Park~ NC~ U.S.A. The Individual selected for this position will be responsible for managing a team of Regulatory scientists, to ensure that the highest quality scientific studies are conducted to confirm the health and environmental safety of BASF Plant Science’s biotechnology crop products, and to ensure that studies are completed according to project timelines to support global regulatory approvals of the products.

Qualifications
Required:
BS degree with 13 years research experience, MS plus 10 years research experience or Ph.D. pIus 5 years research experience, Degree must be in the areas of molecular blology, protein biochemistry, plant biology, horticulture, agronomy or a related field.
Experience In the following:
- The successful candidate will have general experience in Regulatory Science studies on biotech crop plants.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in study and protocol designs, and the writing of study protocols and high quality technical reports is required.
- He/she must have well developed leadership and project management skills and be a creative, motivated team player.
- The incumbent will be required to simultaneously focus on multiple issues, and must have the ability to meet multiple goals and to attain the desired results, often under time pressure and in a fast changing environment.
- Willingness to travel to contract testing facilities will be required as well as participation, as the BPS representative, on appropriate inter-industry panels.
Desired:
- An MS or Ph.D is preferred for this position.
- Experience working in a Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) environment is an asset for this position, as well as a working knowledge of crop biotechnology regulatory requirements.
