JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are the world's leading chemical company because we offer intelligent solutions for our customers and for a sustainable future. We link and develop people with diverse talents all over the world. For you, this means a variety of ways to advance. Not only your performance but also your personality matter to us. At BASF, careers develop from opportunities.

BASF - the Chemical Company - consolidated its plant biotechnology activities in BASF Plant Science in 1998. Today, about 800 employees are working to optimize crops for more efficient agriculture, renewable raw materials and healthier nutrition.

We are currently seeking to fill the position of Global Quality Manager, Seed at our Research Triangle Park, NC location.

The Global Quality Manager, Seed is responsible for the implementation of the Clearfield Care Protocols (CCP), a Quality Management Program that mitigates the risk of genetically modified plant’s adventitious presence (AP) in Clearfield seed and provides diagnostic support for the 3rd party laboratory accreditation for herbicide tolerant (HT) Clearfield trait testing. The CCPs are aimed at Clearfield seed partners and are implemented globally for all non-genetically modified herbicide tolerant crops. This position would be equally split between the implementation of the CCPs and the diagnostic support of those protocols. The Global Quality Manager will work externally with approved customers to provide diagnostic support to BASF and approved customers, and internally with global marketing managers, development managers and analytics managers to implement appropriate procedures and obtain and analyze results.
