Australian Grain Technologies (AGT) is Australia’s largest plant breeding company with a focus on delivering barley, wheat and triticale varieties with superior quality and agronomic performance to Australian farmers. AGT wishes to appoint a Senior Barley Breeder to lead AGT’s national barley breeding programme. The position will be based at AGT’s Roseworthy breeding facility.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone to extend their breeding career in a dynamic and successful breeding company.

You will be responsible for the management of AGT’s national barley breeding programme including objective setting, breeding strategy design and implementation. You will also work as part of AGT’s management team to help to set the strategic direction of AGT breeding and research activities.
