Golden West Seed Co is an international seed company, headquarter in Greece, that is celebrating its 63th anniversary. We are doing breeding, research, production, development & distribution of cotton, corn, sunflower & alfalfa seeds in the greater Mediterranea and Black Sea region.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to develop our corn & sunflower seed business in Ukraine, Russia and Central-Northern European markets. We are recruiting for a business developer; seeking candidates that have a solid agriculture sales and management background. The successful candidate will be solution-driven, with a proven ability to manage people, deliver consistent results and work autonomously in a fast moving environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• University Degree in Agriculture and/or Marketing and /or Business studies.
• Experience minimum 5 years in corn-sunflower seed industry. 
• English and Russian is a must;
• Ability to act independently and make competent decisions without supervision.
• Individual must be goal oriented and an effective communicator.
• Must have prior successful sales management experience.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast paced environment; be flexible and adapt quickly while working with internal and external customers.
• Must have excellent computer skills of MS Office.
• Ability to work with people from a variety of different cultural backgrounds

Main responsibilities:

• Work closely with R&D to help develop product line
• Establish a trialing plan with customers and make sure the plan is implemented
• Propose and implement the Marketing and Sales annual program and budget
• Propose and implement the efficient introduction of the company’s products into their respective target markets
• Contribute to the profitable commercial development of the company
• Manage a team of area sales managers / product managers, CRM
• This position requires extensive travel, including internationally
