Marketing Coordinator
Location: San Luis Obispo, California, USA US Agriseeds is a fast growing, international agricultural vegetable seed company with solid technical experience, dependable customer service and an extensive line of high quality vegetable seeds. After more than ten years in the industry, we have established ourselves as an international vegetable seed supplier, operating from our headquarters in San Luis Obispo, California with customer service centers in Mexico City, Mexico, Culiacan Mexico and Beirut, Lebanon. Primary functions and responsibilities:
Located in the San Luis Obispo office, this position is approximately 50% administrative and 50% design related. Individual’s duties will include but may not be limited to the following:
- The creation of marketing and promotional materials such as product technical brochures, mailers newsletters and press releases including print, web and social media.
- The continued development and maintenance of the company website, adding content and planning enhancements.
- Coordinating uniform consistent message and brand uniformity worldwide, in internal and public communications.
- Market products by assisting in the development and implementation of Marketing, promotional and advertising campaigns.
- Coordinating events such as tradeshows, industry meetings and field days.
- Manage promotional materials inventory, source and develop new items.
Qualifications/Skills:
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated and creative with the ability to think outside the box and possess a positive can do attitude. A successful candidate must be able to work and deliver under tight deadlines both independently and as part of team.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in Marketing related field.
- Excellent writing and editing skills including technical writing.
- Highly proficient and efficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Adobe Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Highly effective communicator both written and verbally.
- The ideal candidate will have a background working with agricultural business.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and be flexible with work schedule.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
