Summer Intern

Location: Woodland, California, USA

MAIN DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing

VISITS TO: Research & Development, Logistics, Production, and Quality Assurance.

LENGTH OF INTERNSHIP: June 2025 - September 2025 (Depending on the candidate’s school schedule).

REQUIREMENTS:
- Pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, or related field.
-
Valid driver’s license with clean history and mode of transportation.
- Be in third or fourth year.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:

Sakata America Holding Inc. offers a variety of intern and temporary employment opportunities for students and early career professionals to experience a career in the seed industry. Interns not only work on actual projects that impact the overall success of Sakata, but they also get to develop and enhance key skills that give them a competitive advantage when applying for full-time careers in the future.

Sakata accepts internship and temporary work applications and queries year-round. Internships and temporary work opportunities are subject to availability and to the needs of the company at the time of application.  Sakata Internships are designed to give students the opportunity to work in pre-professional positions and apply their academic skills to practical work-based projects. 

There will be duties and responsibilities specific to the office/project site and unique to each Intern; and program-related duties, which are meant to complement the Internship experience by further developing the Intern’s business and leadership skills.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance coverage for employees and their families

  • Sick Leave: 1 hour accrued per 30 hours worked for first 30 days, 6.67 hours per month thereafter.
